Spring is in the air and so is great fashion. Its time to get creative with your wardrobe, simply by pulling out all your seasonal styles. No need to shop and spend a lot of money.
Make full use of what you have hanging in your wardrobe. Get some great tips on my mix and match styles in the pictures below.
I did find a few good spring bargains when I was out and about shopping, getting ideas for my spring and summer style. That’s all you need to do when shopping, don’t invest in big wardrobe pieces just find simply layering items or accessories to mix in with your wardrobe.
Another fun and affordable way to change up your style is buying T-shirts. I have several of them hanging in my closet. If you add the perfect heel or jewelry you can go from day to night, maybe even throw on a skirt, scarf, clutch or jacket of your choice.
(I bought the printed skirt last year at Belk for $9.99. )
See how many ways I changes this skirt up. Now, make sure your material is a (seasonless ) material, this means no linen in the winter or fall or no wool in the summer and spring…well, you get it.
I am channeling my inner Audrey Hepburn (but with blonde hair).
See how fashion can be timeless. That’s why I love it so!
Chambray tie blouse (Ross) last year $12.99, black fitted pants (Kohl’s), gold pointed toe flats (Old Navy).
A little boho Chic…Thanks to Ross.
Love these shoes and the price hate the stickers on them…thanks Ross.
You have seen me in this Graphic T (JCPenny), I love my printed tees. I am working on doing this everyday!
Orange skirt I bought two years ago at Kohl’s.
It got a little chilly a few weeks ago. My sweet sister had this leopard printed vest hanging in her closet and of course I was like…I am borrowing that!
I then found out that she really didn’t wear it or wasn’t sure how to. Her fashion forward, very creative sister steps in….and…. wahla! we have a fun little outfit. She might not get this one back, or, maybe she will forget that I have it…ha!
To save you money on your style try borrowing clothes from friends and family. They may have items in their closet that they can’t seem to pull off and you can. Vise versa with your wardrobe.
If you have back and forth weather and you are wanting to change your style up but not wanting to spend a lot of money until the weather stay ones temperature.
Then have fun mixing up your style with different (using like colors) prints or adding fun pops of color.
Simple accessories can really change your style up.
Hope this helps you with your styling dilemmas.
