I just want to tell you all how precious Ali Landry is! I have had the honor of keeping in touch with this talented, gorgeous lady via e-mail and she has been so humble and has embraced me and my business with open arms.

Ali has such a busy schedule and I feel so honored that she took some time out of her day to answer some fun fashion questions.
Ali is from the South so she has a great southern style (as well as the sweetest southern personality)! When you talk to her you feel like you have known her forever! And I can say that is one of the amazing things that southern ladies have in common: sweet southern kindness.
Now that Ali lives in LA she has blended her Southern roots with the fashion-forward world of Hollywood. I have been to LA and the fashion embraced there is far bolder than the styles we wear here in the South.
But, I loved seeing different trends, and the fashionista in me couldn’t wait to get back home to sweet Alabama and try out the new fun styles!
My dream is to one day go back to LA and I feel like I have come so close to that dream with my job and now with Ali. Thank you Ali for getting us all a little closer to the fashion world and for being so down-to-earth and sincere!
It took one stop in Atlanta for me to meet this amazing lady and I am so grateful God opened that door and gave me this opportunity.
I know all of you ladies will get some great fashion ideas and inspirations from this fun and sweet interview with Ali.
And thank you again Ali for your trust and for taking time out of your busy schedule to help me with what I love to do.

Interview With Ali Landry:
CS: How would you describe your style?
I wear mostly long colorful maxi dresses with a statement piece of jewelry, sandals, and a great bag.
CS: I understand that you are expecting a little one soon. That is such a blessing. What styles are you wearing that are most comfortable for you right now? And can you give some fashion advice to all those pregnant ladies who are struggling with their changing bodies?
I bought a boyfriend jean that I can wear casually with Toms or sandals and a cute top for the weekends with the family and play dates.
I also bought a very trendy light denim wide leg jean so I can participate in the hippy chic trend that is going on right now, and I bought a dark denim straight leg that I can wear casually with sandals or dress up with pumps, platforms, cute tops and blazers.
I wear these mostly for dinners with friends or business meetings.
The most comfortable thing that I wear would have to be my maxi dresses. I absolutely love them and could pretty much live in them 24/7. I wear them with platforms or sandals.
I always accessorize them with a great necklace, lots of bracelets, or a great pair of earrings. I don’t necessarily buy all things maternity except for the jeans.
I try to buy pieces that I can wear after my pregnancy as well with maybe just slight alterations. Let’s face it, clothes are expensive and times are tough so we want to be careful with our choices and buy pieces that we can use before, during and after pregnancy.
CS: How would you encourage pregnant women to embrace themselves and their changing body?
After that it is blissful. I get back to eating healthy, working out and my energy goes through the roof.
I love the fact that my body is changing in order to accommodate the new life growing inside of me. I really try to enjoy every minute of it, because I know that this stage will go by so fast.
I encourage women to really celebrate this time. I have so many friends that cannot have children and would do anything to be able to carry a child so I really try to embrace it completely, because I know that it is such a gift. A true miracle!
CS: What would you say to women who want to embrace the new styles, but have varying body types? Let’s face it, not all women can wear all trends!
A simple accessory can be cost efficient and fun. You have no idea what a big difference one piece can make in your wardrobe.
If you like the look, then you can experiment with more pieces.
CS: Do you have any tips for staying current with styles? The South tends to run on a more ‘slow paced’ schedule. I know you are a southern girl at heart, but how to you keep up with the style in LA?
Can you share some fun trends that we might not know about here, or can incorporate with into our southern style?
I bought a few pairs of feather earrings, a feather necklace and a fringe bag. I am just mixing these pieces into my wardrobe and experimenting with the trend.
Sunglasses are a great way to update a look. Currently, the wayfarers and the feline inspired sunglasses are really big.
Also, a new trend to try would be maxi skirts. I love color blocking. Mixing reds, oranges and purples or even going for a more neutral palette like tan, cream and bright yellow.
For summer, a great pair of platform shoes is a necessity! I love a fedora for the bad hair days of summer. This summer, bright-colored jeans are a fun trend.
My favorite is blue skinny leg. Snakeskin pieces are also great to start incorporating into your wardrobe now and you can wear them into the fall.
For overall fashion trends and hot off the presses styles, a great thing to do would be to subscribe to some fashion websites like www.whowhatwear.com or www.net-a-porter.com. Whatever you choose, make it fun! Fashion does not have to be so serious!
