I had such an amazing time in Atlanta and I am so excited to share my testimony.
First of all, my trip started out with a major bang with two of the sweetest, kindest friends.
Stephanie, you and your mom were so gracious to invite me and I look forward to enjoying many more trips with the both of you. We had lots of laughs and some much-needed girl time. I hope I wasn’t too much for you sweet ladies.

We left early Thursday morning and got back late Friday night. It felt like we were there for an entire week and that’s a great thing because I had such an amazing experience!
First, I am a true believer that God puts people, things and particular events in your life for a reason. You may not know why or when, but the ultimate testimony is having faith and patience.
I always talk about how God has allowed me to share my dream with each and every one of you and how my goal, as a Christian woman, is to show you all that you can also pursue your dream.
It’s a matter of believing in yourself and the Lord! I share my faith and testimony with all of you in hopes that you, too, can find your gift and share it with others.

Fashion, clothes and people are some my favorite things in the world. I had an amazing opportunity to all three during the short time I was in Atlanta.
I got to preview the latest fashion styles for the fall and meet some amazing designers as well as people just like me, who are loving life and working on living their dream.
Let’s get to my favorite part of the story. While Stephanie, her mom and I were in a show room looking at some designs, I heard a name that stopped me in my tracks.
I was like, Oh my goodness! I just think she is such an amazing person.
Of course, I did not know her personally, but after reading about her for years and seeing her in Doritos ads, I sort of felt like I knew her.
I thought to myself this woman is incredible: Miss Louisiana, Miss USA, Super Bowl ads, one of People Magazine’s 50 most beautiful, I could go on and on.
Most of you probably remember her from one of the above honors, but she is so much more than that. She is a wife, a mother, a Christian and now also an entrepreneur.
She has her own line of baby clothes (and they are precious).
Now comes the best part. I had an opportunity to actually meet this incredible woman!
And I don’t mean, I got a picture made with her and she said hi to me. I mean, I got to TALK to her!
All I can say is she is such an inspiring, admirable, and Godly woman. I was a nervous wreck meeting her, but I can’t tell you all how down to earth she was. I felt like we were long-lost friends!
The irony of this story is, many of you may think of me as outgoing (and I do love to meet people), but I would have never pictured introducing myself to someone famous, much less having a good 25 maybe even 30 minute conversation with them.
But, this goes back to trusting in the Lord. I know in my heart that he wanted me to meet Ali that day.
She inspired me and encouraged me to continue my dream job and to witness to each and every one of you.
Just the simple fact that Ali Landry took an interest in what simple Laura from Montgomery, Alabama had to say meant the world to me.
When I first started this business, I prayed that the Lord would give me the ideas and the know how to help women embrace themselves and utilize the gifts God has given to them.
I continue to pray that he gives me guidance and understanding to speaking to each and every one of you. Ali’s encouraging words and kindness have shown me I am on the right path.
I want to thank God for placing Ali in my path and giving me this great opportunity to help others.
I also want to thank Ali, not only for opening up her heart to me and sharing her walk with Christ, but also for letting me share my walk with Christ.
So with that said I was in need of sharing this amazing experience with you all. Thank you for all of your support and a big thanks to Stephanie and her Mom for letting me break away to meet Ali!
I hope the ladies in the showroom didn’t think that I was too crazy!

I just wanted to post a few pics of my wonderful time. Here is the fashion show I went to. Fun!
All of you that know me know that I love sweets! And you can’t beat a good cupcake.
Here are the yummy cupcakes that I enjoyed in one of the show rooms. Teresa Garner, you could blow everyone out of the park with your amazing baking skills.
We all have talents and gifts that God has blessed us with. Some are hidden and some are given.
I am grateful to be able to share my experience and my love for fashion, and just plain old everyday life’s struggles that we as women deal with each day.
This makes my passion for what I love to do so much more exciting. I love being able to share this with my Centsibly Southern family and that means the world to me.
I want you all to share your God-given gifts and talents.
You too can be a testimony to others. Besides, you never know whose life you may touch.
Thank you Ali for sharing you gift with me. And thank you Stephanie and Wanda for allowing me to have some amazing girl time with you, it was much-needed.
