I am not wanting to get out and purchase clothes right now so my creative styling is coming in handy. My sweet client in New York passed down this fun black baby doll dress.
I paired it with my Denim sleeveless vest from target, feather necklace from Kohl’s, and gladiator brown sandals from Payless. Now I have a fun boho chic style.
I didn’t need to go out and buy anything.
A fun way to save money on your style is to borrow clothes or if you or your friends are in the mood to do a closet clean out then try swapping out clothes.
You may fit into something that they don’t like or find a way to style it a little differently then she would or vice versa. When you are pregnant and in between clothes this is perfect to do.
I love this cotton black Maxi dress I bought from Old Navy for $12.99. I am able to wear it now and into the Fall. Perfect for pre and post baby bump.
My bargain New York dress that I bought at century 21. Yes, that was the price….eeeeek! But, you see what I paid.
Have fun with mixing your prints and colors. Who’s say’s you can’t have fun with trends while you are pregnant..Not this fashionista. I am working hard at trying not to purchase anything for my growing tummy right now (TRYING TO SAVE MONEY) so, I am having fun being creative with all of my wardrobe. This might not last very long, but I will certainly work with what I have. That’s why they call me Censtibly Southern Chic.
I just recently purchased my camel flats from TJMaxx for $29.99 they were $50.00. My feet are the first to go when it comes to pregnancy so this was a great purchase. I love a good camel color.
Ok, I have a little tip for all you pregnant mom’s out there. When you wash you jeans allow them to dry over night hanging out and lay them out. Put your damp pant’s on a little damp and they will stretch out and fit your tummy perfectly. This, of course, works the first three to four maybe five months of pregnancy.
My Home-T tank came from a website called Home T’s.
Happy Styling and God bless,
xoxo
