While I am still trying to get back to loose some of that baby weight I have come to realize my body shape will just not be the same, and that’s ok.

I am embracing this new body of mine and showing you that even with weight changes and life changes you can still enjoy those style bargains.  I am using a few item’s that I had in my wardrobe mixing them in with some new purchases.

I bought this fun polka dot blouse (29.99)  from Versona and paired it with a pencil black skirt I bought from a local boutique in Montgomery. I love adding fun pop’s of color to black or black and white.  I already have some great ideas on how to wear this fun blouse into the fall.

I wanted to show you what a great staple piece my pencil black skirt has been. I paired it with a white T-shirt and my neon heels for another outfit change. This skirt was $114.00 dollars I bought it for $20.00 ( it was extra off the 40) right after I had Lillian and it still works with my changing body.

I love this green off the shoulder lace blouse from New York and Company. I was able to get if half off and as you can see I have really gotten a lot of good wear out of it. Notice my family pictures.  In case you are wondering what I am doing in this picture I partnered up with East Chase a local mall and helped style some precious girls at fashion camp.  We had so much fun.

I was able to hit the same deal at New York and company and purchase some bellbottom/ flair jeans ( flair jeans give you the illusion of long legs)  and this fun little denim blouse buy one get one half off. I love deals like this, especially  when your weight is changing.

Another Versona purchase. I have had my blouse that I am wearing with this cute little skirt for 5 years. Yes, that’s what I said.  It’s been the perfect staple piece for my wardrobe and I bought it from old navy.  This skirt will be a great transion for my fall wardrobe as well.

First time away from the baby we went to see Guns and Roses in concert in Nashville with our best friends. We had so much fun!!!  Do you recognize this blouse? I wore it during my pregnancy.  I bought the jeans and the blouse from TJMaxx.

The pictures below are when I was pregnant.

I also found this blouse at TJMaxx.  loved it because I was able to  cover my tummy and hid my un buttoned pants…( if I had an emoji to insert it would be the one laughing one.)

Don’t get discouraged when your body changes. You can still have a fun style and not have to go out and spend a fortune.  Simply use what you have  or have fun mixing in some inexpensive pieces.

I know it’s hard to get out and shop for many reasons right now. Don’t stress yourself out and feel like you need to purchase an ENTIRELY new wardrobe. give yourself some time and be creative with what you have.

xo

God Bless,

Laura
