Big Dreams Make a Beautiful Reality – On Becoming a Stylist for Pop Photography

Pop Photography Fashion Show

I have long prayed that God would guide me, my heart, and my talents in the direction he wants me to go.

Working towards a dream is never easy. It took me a long time to understand that. If you are passionate about something, then know that dreams take time and perseverance.

God has opened up many doors for Centsibly Southern Chic and he has closed many doors as well.

Through prayers and patience I have learned to let go and allow God in. Always praising!

Now, with that said, God is taking me on an amazing journey. One would be partnering up with Pop Photography. I can’t express enough the joy that I have had working with Lisa, Darren and all of their precious senior girls.

God placed Lisa in my life at the right time. He knew we were the perfect pair.

Lisa and I both see each other talents and we know how to cheer each other on. Everyone needs a friend or two like that.  What an amazing blessing she has been for me.

I started a little dream bucket list. I noticed when people say they want to fill their bucket list they just don’t write it up and let it sit on their refrigerator and let time pass.

They take action and move forward.

I am learning through friends like Lisa it takes a team to fill your dream bucket list. Be silly, have fun, have faith, pray, trust in God, don’t take things too seriously, trust in yourself, and have a supportive team that knows your gifts and talents.

Thanks to Lisa and Darren I was able to mark one adventure off of my list. Being their stylist has been such a treat and a dream come true.

Thanks to the senior models for trusting me when it comes to styling them for senior portraits. I know those pictures are worth a thousands words and the fact that I can be a part of that memory and the reflection of those words means the world to me.

The same with the fashion show, I enjoy seeing the confidence and the beautiful smiles on these young ladies faces. That to me makes my dream more of a reality and much more special.

Kudos to Lisa with the help of Darren for pulling off this amazing event. Such a fun time for this southern stylist. I can’t wait until next year!

Enjoy all the styles and the video of me in action.

I think it’s great that you truly sought God’s guidance on what direction you should take. You’ve taken your dreams, given them to God, and nurtured them into flourishing! I love the photos from the fashion show. All of the girls look so real and happy – something that doesn’t seem all that common in fashion modeling.
