A Fun Wardrobe Makeover – Jennifer

God continues to bless me with some fantastic clients. I feel fortunate to be able to enjoy my dream job and meet some amazing women.

So let’s get started with Jennifer’s Wardrobe makeover.

We took Jennifer’s current style and revamped it completely, meaning a closet consult and style evaluation.

We found items that worked for her body, personality, and versatility as well as being affordable. The versatility and affordability were very important especially since we were completely cleaning out her closet.

I kept a few items that I knew we could incorporate in with her new style.

Jennifer, like a lot of women was buying clothing that was a little big for her petite body. We tend to do this as women thinking we might gain weight, or when it fits loose it feels better.

You can buy items of clothing that feel good and fit your body right now. Don’t hang onto those items of clothing that you have had for a while thinking you might gain or lose weight.

One reason not to do that is no matter if your weight goes up and down trends and styles tend to change.

The great thing about this wardrobe/style makeover is we were able to buy all of Jennifer’s new styles from two stores, DSW and New York and Co.

We found new items of clothing that gave her a great look. It is age appropriate and very versatile for work wear, evening wear, and everyday wear.

The everyday wear is very important being that she is a mommy of two precious little boys.

Jennifer was so great, she was willing to let me take control and fully trusted in me. She is so cute and the perfect little model for this as well.

I can’t stress enough about how blessed I am to not only be able to live my dream and continue to trust in the Lord but for the Lord to introduce me to some beautiful women inside and out.

Big thanks for all of your trust and support. I had fun Jennifer!

Enjoy all the outfits I found for Jennifer’s new style.

The Shopping

She is too cute, but, Jennifer is like a lot of us working moms we all get stuck in a wardrobe rut. I wanted to show her how she could dress casual and keep it trendy, fun and age appropriate.

It can be so hard to get out and shop when you are used to having a certain style. So that’s where I come in.

I was able to budget her purchases and incorporate items she had in her wardrobe with her new styles.

Adding pops of colors can really take a simple outfit from fab to fabulously stylish. It’s the same with accessories.

Jennifer needed a more structured and fitted pant so I was able to find her some for a great price at New York and Company. Sometimes we tend to gravitate to bigger clothes because we are more comfortable in the them for multiple reasons.

Beauty is not about looking like every other woman out there, it’s about celebrating who you are and creating a look you love.

The key is choosing clothes and accessories that give you and your body an uninterrupted line and draw the eye where you want it to go.

Jennifer also needed work clothes so we found some great pieces to mix and match in with her wardrobe.

Wow, Jennifer looks great. I think her new clothes are beautiful. I love the little jean jacket and the plaited black skirt and the black shoes with the ankle strap. You’ve done a great job. She looks stylish and neat in each photo and I love the accessories – the scark and the necklace. Great job!
