So, I am back and running with all the fashion 411’s thanks to an amazingly talented and smart friend of mine. Can we all say YAY!
I will say although I have missed blogging it has been nice to have a little break. I have been very busy last few months and I think God knew I needed to focus my attention on a few more important things in my life right now.
I, like a lot of people can get so overwhelmed with many things in my life. I have learned that God has perfect timing and he never wants us to be overwhelmed and stressed.
This has been a great example when it comes to my blog. The more I trust in him and realize that he always has a greater purpose for me things seem to work out. So, I stepped back, prayed and asked God the direction he wants me to go in my life.
It is so funny, both Jeffery and I are so different but so much alike. I have always relied on him to be the one to encourage me and tell me that it’s going to be ok, and wow, we both have needed that encouragement these last several months. I have come to realize that God throws some curve balls your way for many reasons and he also places people, things, events in your life for several reasons.
I finally stepped back from worrying about how this problem was going to get fixed and started focusing on what was more important. Then I had the peace of mind to be able to finish projects that needed to be finished, take time out for my family, schedule appointments with clients and get a little more organized in my life as well will my business.
See, how God’s timing is awesome! I needed this and I needed to continue to trust in him. And the fact that I trusted in him he in return found the perfect person to help me out. Someone who is talented and who comes from an amazing family! I can say this because I am best friends with his parents. And they are pretty amazing people, we are blessed to have them all in our lives!
God’s timing is always perfect in everything! Even when it comes to jobs, friends, random strangers we meet, life, well, you get it.
I am so very grateful for Gods timing and very grateful for my smart friends who are so willing to help me when I need them. God gives us gifts and he would never want us to be selfish with those gifts that he has blessed us with.
Always remember that acts of kindness and compassion go a long way. In a nutshell this is what I learned throughout this expreince:
- Share your gifts with someone and let them know God has allowed you to have your gift to share.
- Trust in God, I mean really trust in God.
- God has a plan even when things look like they won’t get better, I promise you he does have a plan.
- Life isn’t perfect. Without those curve balls how would we be so humble and appreciate the small things like someone helping me fix my blog.
God knows exactly what he needs from us, I could have easily quit and thought that maybe Centsibly Southern Chic wasn’t meant to be and now I need to move forward in my life to help provide for my family a little better especially after the blog went hay wire…uuuugh!!
But that’s not what God wanted. He wanted the trust and y’all its amazing how once again his timing is spot on. God does not want you to be unhappy, he wants to see you succeed and share his glory through the success and the gifts he has given you.
This might sound crazy but be grateful for those trying moments in your life because in return you will see that God has a bigger plan for you and once again his timing is perfect!
God has given each of us unique spiritual gifts that he wants us to use to help other people.
