Fall is here and what a better way to get your wardrobe in style and in shape. I was so thrilled to have a new client join the centsibly Southern family.

Loren you are precious and I had a blast!

—-

First, Loren and I went shopping. Then, we took a few of Loren’s new clothes and mixed them in with her old clothes. Now she has a brand new wardrobe!

I incorporated her style along with today’s hottest fashion and we gave her so many fun looks.

Sometimes we buy clothes and we just have a hard time finding what pieces of clothing they go with and trying to buy the latest trend is not the same as when you bring it home and put it together.

That was Loren’s struggle.

Like all of us busy ladies, being a working mom and trying to juggle fashion and style doesn’t come easy these days. So voila!  That’s where I come in handy.

—-

See how we transformed Loren’s wardrobe from simple to darn right sassy! I was able to show her how to transition her summer dresses and blouses into a great fall and winter wardrobe.

I also showed her how to dress her body type and use what she had in her wardrobe to change her looks from fun and casual to sophisticated and sleek.

I could have spent all day in her closet, it was so fun!

Styling is what I love to do and Loren let me have a free reign. Thank you Loren!

So here is sweet Loren’s Fall and Winter wardrobe from old to new.

—-

I made a small list for Loren to add a few pieces to her new fun styles. It certainly wasn’t a lot. She had a great selection, but we did get rid of a few items that she just didn’t need.

This also made room for her new wardrobe. The best thing about it is that I helped her get ready for a girls trip and I was able to find a great going out outfit for a fun night out with her husband. See ladies I can do it all!

I had so much fun Loren, and I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to come style you and your closet.

Here is Loren Before
See how we took her everyday mom wear and transformed it into a fun and stylish look. Even for running errands or picking up the kids.

This is the same look below but we added a fun printed flat instead of running shoes, a darker more fitted jean, fun accessories, And of course a fun pop of color like your favorite tank top that Loren has on below. These items you can take from day on into the night.

So Loren had a bunch of skirts, blouses and tops. We were in need of finding a good home for these when it came to styling her wardrobe.

I think we accomplished our fashion mission when it came to finding the right items to get her ready for the fall/winter trends of 2011.

I love mixing prints, colors, textures, tones on tones, as well as color blocking to my clients wardrobe.

It’s fun, chic, and trendy as well as age appropriate. Keeping your style fun and age appropriate is also very important when it comes to pulling off the latest fashion trends.

Don’t mix the wrong colors or textures. Be sure that when you color block and mix prints or textures that it blends with all your other items of clothing.

And be confident in whom you are and what you are wearing, this is the most important of all. When you show and embrace your confidence you wear your style well.

005-3

Two different textures that work well together. See how we rolled the cuff of her blazer to give her the definition and the added style that was needed to the gray on gray colors.

007-2

Different textures and still fun and trendy. Gray sweater with her corduroy skirt. This is simple but fun.

See how we added a pop of color with her multicolored scarf.

I love taking a simple print and adding another print to it. I mixed the colors of this floral Ann Taylor blouse with a fun brown and cream striped cardigan. It takes simple to sassy!

010-2

011-3

A little pop of color goes a long way!

015

I love layering! This is so easy to do with any of your low-cut neckline sweaters or dresses. You can also take a lot of your summer dresses and layer them for the fall/winter.

Some of you are probably wondering why I mixed a lavender blouse with the multi-printed skirt from Hue Studio. I love to color block and keeping just a slight pop of color under muted tones I think looks great!

I wanted to show you two ways. I love purples, mustard colors and grays together.

What better way to incorporate it then by adding that in with Loren’s fun skirt. Loren was ok with the colors but not in love so I found another blouse that blended with the colors in the bottom part of her skirt. She bought this skirt and just wasn’t sure how or what to wear it with so here we go the final product.

019

022-2

My favorite thing to do when it comes to styling is to use everything item in your closet to make it a pieces of your outfit. For example…Long scarves are wonderful for this. Add a belt to them around your waist and you not only have changed up your simple outfit you have made an entirely new one at that.

024

027-2

I love red, and this red dress is the perfect color for the Fall and great for transitions. See how we go from day to night.

037-2

Scarf is an added bonus for that chic look!

Loren can easily replace the boots with a great printed, black or strappy heel.  This will make the perfect cocktail/party dress for the upcoming holiday season.

This will probably take you back a little but I love to transition any part of your wardrobe that I can. Try finding your favorite swimsuit cover ups that you bought before or after the summer season can bring fun transition to your wardrobe.

I love a fun print and this cover up was the perfect length as well as style for her chic look. This can save you money and give you a fun new style at that.

056-3

I love this sequined skirt that Loren had. She needed an outfit for a party that she was going to and we found two fabulous tops to go with this fun little skirt.

030-3

031-3

So the next few looks are your everyday looks. You can go out with the hubby, friends or just take have fun with the kids. Any of these looks you can take from casual to night time fun.

Take a fun satin cropped jacket and make it nice a casual for those easy days. Add your favorite flat..I love these printed leopard flats that Loren has. Roll of the pants to give you length and definition.

052-3

050-1

053-3

Pair your favorite summer dress with your leggings or jeans and you are ready for fall.

Take you summer tops and blouses and incorporate them into your Fall wardrobe.

063-2

065-1

And, add a pop of color : )

I hope you ladies enjoyed Loren’s looks. Be sure to get some great ideas for your wardrobe. Or call me and let me guide you in the direction of style that you long for.

Thank you Loren!
