Mary Abigail. What can I say?
I had the best time with this sweet girl! She was headed to Birmingham to meet me for an entirely new look. Out with the old and in with the new. I was honored that she wanted me to help her on her shopping/styling journey.
With a cup of coffee in tow from me, I was anxious and ready to meet this gorgeous girl!
Like the rest of the ladies Mary Abigail trusted me to give her tips and ideas for her new style. I had the best time!
She was open to a lot more than I thought she would be which made it even more fun! I am so excited for you to see how we found fun, beauty bargains that fit her new shape as well as her new style (and don’t forget about that amazing personality)!
We literally shopped until we dropped! Enjoy all of Mary Abigail’s fun new styles.
Thank you Mary Abigail, it was such a treat to meet you sweet girl.
Here is what I wore for our fun day of shopping:
Mary Abigail has an amazing new shape so I wanted to show here ways to show it off! we kept it trendy and but yet age appropriate.
1st Stop. The Galleria. Belks, Ann Taylor Loft, and Forever 21.
I love this polka-dotted peplum dress on MA. It really defined her style and shape.
I loved this peplum blouse we found.
This nautical dress fir MA shape perfectly. I found a blue belt from TJ Maxx for $10.00, this gives her more definition and adds a fun pop of color as well.
I could certainly see a fun faux fur vest or a long cardigan over this during the cooler months.
MA was willing to step out of the box a little and that made it even more exciting to shop with her.
We found the fun printed leopard pants at Ann Taylor Loft.
Instead of pairing them with your basic black blouse, I wanted to add some color simply by incorporating this plum-colored blouse.
She can wear her riding boots or dress it up with her fun black ankle boots.
A little color goes a long way.
I was so excited to see MA in these fun purple fitted pants. And we balanced it out with a flowy blouse at the top and a fitted riding boot at the bottom.
I love TJ Maxx and I am so glad MA likes a good fashion bargain too.
Here I paired a fitted, textured, blue skirt with a fun chambray blouse. She can wear a black tight with this and a colorful shoe or keep it simple with Ankle boots or a boot.
I added a little color underneath the blouse and then tied it at the waist. We loved this printed leopard skirt. It’s always a great idea to invest in a print when it comes to your wardrobe investments. Prints are a great staple piece!
If you are short and you want to pull off the latest fur fashion. Be sure to accentuate your waist by wearing a small belt. This will give you the definition you need.
Mixing prints and colors is fun! just make sure they blend!
Here is another tip while trying on clothes and working your way into those fun new styles. Be sure to try on everything together. You can’t get the full picture until you see it.
We found this mustard pea coat from Forever 21. This is the perfect color and it will go with practically everything!
I liked this dress, but we ended up not getting it. I could see a fun black tights, cardigan, heels or boots with it.
I have had the best time working with these ladies. Thank you Mary Abigail for letting me shop and help you find you fun new style!
I made a small list of items that Mary Abigail may need to add to her wardrobe.
Since I couldn’t go home with her I am enjoying all the pictures she is sending my direction and all of her fun finds!
