Enjoy my pictures that I took over the Christmas Holidays. I took a few beauty bargain pictures as well.
Well it’s official this southern fashionista turned 30 something last month.
No I’m not telling you my exact age, or maybe I should say I’m older than I am? This will give the illusion of me looking a lot younger…right?
HA! I can’t do that, actually, I did have a little moment of (yikes! I’m almost forty!) and have I done everything that I wanted to do in my life?
Regrets ran through my mind, disappointment with myself, sadness for things that haven’t happened or I wanted to happen.
Well, I just was really letting age define me. And why? Why in the world do we do this? I finally stopped and said let’s enjoy this day, this is the only day that you can say is your day in time.
My sequin blouse was from the Dillards outlet store I bought it this summer for $9.99. My blazer is from New York and Co. $12.99
With the many phone calls, texts and BIG thanks to the world of social media this southern stylist felt the love and threw that age thing out the window.
The what if’s or why didn’t I do that when I was younger can be my worst enemy, but, in the grand scheme of things God has and will continue to have other plans for me.
I may always go back to why didn’t I do this when I was younger, or I wish time would slow down, why in the world didn’t I take the time to really live my dream.
So I realized that from now on I am going to start trying new things at the right old age of…should I tell you…(36) it’s ok, I will love my age and continue living life according to what God has planned for me.
I’m going to be appreciative and grateful for all that he has and continues to bless me with.
My boho look….I love T-shirts and mixing my prints. Its so hard for me to shop for myself during the Christmas Holidays for many reason so I get very creative with what I have in my closet.
Life is so funny, why in the world do we put an age limit on everything? Let’s stop doing that, let’s enjoy this life and these gifts that God gives us.
With that said, if you see me sending videos to the Today Show, Fox News, E-News, GMA, Bravo, Style Network, tweeting my favorite stores, or giving shout outs to all my fashion forward movie stars and stylists, don’t laugh. I’m living my dream at 36 and suggest everyone do same.
Enjoy yourself, enjoy life and first and foremost enjoy that God has so much in store for you no matter your age, health, life situations.
Fun with friends….My sequin sweater I bought from the Dillards outlet store this summer for $9.99.
