Sorry I am a little late on this.  I tell you getting back in to the swing of things after the holidays’ can be really hard. With that said…I am really behind on my post.

I was challenged by someone in my house, not naming names it may rhyme with…( breathy) to not shop for a month. I posted a lot of my non shopping articles of clothing on Facebook and Instagram. Just in case I have a few followers who enjoy reading my blog and are not part of the social media world, then I hope you find this informative. let me share with you all my outfits I put together.  And just so you know, I managed to go over more than a month!

I will say, I was able to reuse a few items in my wardrobe that I wore during my pregnancy last year. No, I  am not ashamed , I am actually pretty  proud of myself that I could be resourceful with my clothes…bedsides that’s what I’m suppose to do…right?

enjoy my styles

Pulled out my black vest as seen in the two pictures below, burgundy leggings, camel boots that are 5 years old,and leopard scarf from last year. See my pants( during pregnancy and after)

Black dress I bought when I found out I was pregnant. The middle picture and the far right picture or how I wore it currently.

I bought this dress right after I had Lillian at TJMaxx fro $14.99. My purse that broke was on the right.

I will say I did cheat and I bought that big ole bag in my hand at Walmart. Only because my purse broke, I  mean the strap completely broke off at work!!! And when you have a 10 month old that over sized purse comes in handy ladies.

I also grabbed a wallet too since that broke on me a few month ago. The purse was $19.99 and the wallet was $6.49. I took a picture of my wallet next to a friends wallet. She had a Kate Spade and mine is Walmart…Look how similar!!

Let me tell that Walmart purse has come in handy!!

Evidently I like leopard and polka dots. I bought this blouse and these pants right after I little lill. Paired them with my camel boots and I the perfect outfit for thanksgiving.   FYI- I am so upset I didn’t take a picture of the bottom of my camel boots I had two large holes in the heels. I finally had to purchase some new ones. I will talk about that on my next blog. You will just have to take my word.

Here are my burgundy pants again….

I bought the vest last year during my pregnancy at a great price.

I am posting this to show you that it’s not hard to save money on clothes. Be creative and have fun with it. Yes, after my month was up I saved my money and bought a few items that I needed. I will show you my purchases after that. But remember, when you buy new get rid of the old and get your closet/style organized and off to a good start for the new year.

xoxo
