Here are a few of my go-to beauty bargains that this Southern Fashionista is all about for the summer. I hope you enjoy them just as much as I have.
Old Navy Shift Dress
I have absolutely love this dress. I get a lot of compliments on it as well.
It’s a light fabric which is perfect in this southern heat. It’s also easy to throw on when you are in a hurry.
Here it is in green and black. A bonus about this dress is that you can wear into the fall with a denim jacket. It also has pockets, which is awesome on a dress.

My second favorite items of the summer are my Payless gladiator sandals. The reason I like them is that they will go with practically everything! They were on sale for $15.00.
It doesn’t cut my short leg off like most gladiator shoes do. Big plus is that they are so comfortable!
Here is a similar pair at Amazon without the laces.
Sunglasses have always been a big staple piece in my wardrobe. I bought this pair from Target for $12.99.
They are UV protectant and frame my face well. A plus is if I loose them or break them I will not feel as bad because I didn’t spend a lot of money on them.
Accessories are key to making your outfits ladies.
Another summer favorite would be my Coral Necklace from Kohl’s. I bought it for $15.99.
I can dress it up or down. It has been my go to necklace for the summer.
My next favorite thing is for all those blonde gals out there. Or maybe you have dark hair and need a few highlights.
I am always looking for a way to save money on my hair and adding color to it is an added expense. So I searched around for the best product that would work in between cut and colorings and I found this.
I love it ladies. It’s been two months since I have had my hair highlighted, and I am not kidding.
All you do is spray on your hair and blow dry. You instantly have the natural sun kissed highlights you need and you don’t have to break the bank in the salon.
It’s only $8. It really looks like I have been to the salon.
I found mine at CVS. You can also try Walmart, Target, Ulta or Amazon.
Wet and Wild
Wet and Wild lip products are the way to go.
They are inexpensive so I can buy all the colors of the rainbow.
It tends to last a little longer on my lips too. I paid less than $2. Not too bad.
I always say add a pop of color to your simple style and that pop of color can come from your makeup products too.
I bought these at my Local CVS drug store.
These are just a few of my affordable go to fashion items for the summer. Now that we are having another addition to the family all of these budget friendly items have definitely come in handy.
I would love to hear your feedback on what bargain fashion items have gotten you through the summer.
Don’t be shy, it might be something this Southern Fashionista will test out and share on the blog.
