Old-fashioned Alarm Clock
Trends come and go, so spend your money on basics.

Little Black Dress
The little black dress is a wonderful style investment. Be sure that the dress has a little embellishment or detail on it. It doesn’t have to be a lot, just enough to give your simple dress an added pop.

This black shift dress that sweet Ashley is wearing looks great with this piece of crystal costume jewelry. The added belt and cream cardigan add style and elegance to this cute little number.

Timeless Jewelry
Ashley had this necklace for a while and wasn’t really sure what to wear it with. So we pulled out and oldie but goodie burgundy corduroy skirt and a gorgeous ruffled capped sleeved T-Shirt and viola!

This is how a simple piece of costume jewelry can really take an outfit from simple to fun and trendy!

The important thing is know how to piece your old and new together. Keep your timeless pieces like Ashley’s necklace and corduroy skirt in tip-top shape!

Jewelry can really change an outfit, too. Keep the costume jewelry. Gold, silver, pearls and long necklaces are wonderful keepers, too!

Pumps
Invest in a pump, one that is neutral or has a fun color.

And I am all about a heel! They make your legs look longer and you can wear them dressy or casual!

Heather has on her nude heels in both pictures. Perfect for year round as you can see here. And I love how we mixed her prints in the bottom picture.

The romper is great for each seasonal transition too. You can see how I changed this cute romper into her Fall wardrobe in the pictures below.

I wanted to give you ladies an idea of how to wear your romper and the added print in the Winter.

You can pull in simple colors depending on the trends for each season just by simply adding a small piece here and there. Jewelry can be like heels. It can take a simple item in your wardrobe from casual to fun and flirty, whatever your choice of style may be that day.

So invest In a great pair of heels and jewelry. I think that everyone needs a good heel no matter what size or shape you are. You can always take your favorite flat to change into later.

I love dark denim jeans. You can dress these sassy little items up or down and still feel comfortable wearing them no matter what size or shape you are.

I also love a fun print. Just adding small portions at a time will take a simple outfit from drab to fab!

Try this with your shoes, handbag, scarf etc. My favorite print that will always be timeless is leopard.

So these are a few of my “timeless” tips. You don’t have to spend a lot to look classic and timeless.

Trends come and go but timeless looks are always the same and can be transitioned into trends.

If you do spend more money than you want on these items, then go for it! It’s worth it!
